Setting up new Mac and maybe using Migration Assistant

A family member is getting a new Mac. Since he is moving from an older OS to Sonoma, I've suggested he re-install all the apps from scratch, including 1Password. We were considering using Migration A...

Thanks for this info. I think we've decided to start from scratch and install all the applications. We can copy over the Documents and pictures, but not the Applications.
