Sling Log On Problem
Very strange: In order to log into Sling, I have to first search for Sling TV in a search engine and then click on Sling which takes me to the main Sling page (sling.com). I then click the log in tab and log in as normal, filling the credentials from 1P.
However, if I go to 1P and click the log in from there, it will not work (Safari, Firefox, or Chrome) and with VPN turned off. It takes you to the log in page like normal - but when you fill in the credentials, it takes you to an error message as follows:
"Page Expired The page you are trying to access is no longer available. Copyright © 2003-2019. Ping Identity Corporation. All rights reserved."
In summary - the only way to log into Sling is to search for it or type sling.com into your browser - if you try to login using 1P directly, it gives you the above error message about the page no longer available.
What's going on here?

Evon, I think you have fixed it! In answer to your first 2 questions in either case I experienced the issue using the "open & fill" feature. However when I changed the URL as you suggested - bingo! That worked! Thank You!

Hello BenBob, thank you for your reply.
I've tried testing the behaviour on my end but I'm not able to create an account due to region lock restrictions. May I ask if you're using the "Open & Fill" feature from the 1Password browser extension? Do you experience the same error message if you use the "Open & Fill" feature from the 1Password desktop app?
Do you experience the same behaviour if you change the website URL to
https://www.sling.com/sign-inin your Sling Login item?I look forward to hearing back from you.

Ok Steph, here you go. First is the link in my 1P, second is the link copied when I go to sling log in via sling.com (they look similar to me but there are some differences) - and further - I tried deleting my sling log in and then doing another save to 1P by going to the sling log in page and then when 1P asks if I want to save the credentials, I do. But it doesn't change the results - still the same - get the error message when logging in from 1 P but not when using the other method.
Thanks for the help

Hey BenBob
Can you let me know the exact website URL that is saved within your Sling login item in your 1Password so I can do some testing and best advise?
Thanks!
