Sometimes 1Password on my Chrome does not detect ⌘+⇧+X

Sometimes 1Password on my Chrome does not detect ⌘+⇧+X to unlock, although it prompted me to do so.
This behavior is inconsistent. I do not know how to reproduce it. Only by luck, but it's quite often.

Then when I click on the 1Password for desktop, it always asks me to install the Chrome extension again, although I already installed it.
I had to trick it by opening preferences and then clicking it again.

So it is frustrating every time this problem happens.

Hey @zkregen! Thanks for reaching out to us here.

Sorry about this, I completely understand any frustration caused with this issue.

A recent Chrome update, which contains a new code signing certificate, may cause trouble with unlocking 1Password in your browser or using 1Password to fill in your browser. We've made changes to 1Password 7 for Mac to maintain compatibility with that.

Could you update 1Password 7 to the latest version and give things a try again? Here's a guide on how to do that -> https://support.1password.com/update-1password/

I'd also recommend giving your computer a quick restart, just to refresh things.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have questions. 🙂
