Sort by Most Recently Used? Re-request
Hi, The previous request was closed. So I open a new one. Can you please add ‘Sort by recently used’ to the browser extension. Doesn't look like a lot of work to add something like this and would help a lot for people with servers (that often run services on one IP) or logins for Google, when you have multiple GMail account e.g. Thanks!
_1Password Version: 8.10.50

_OS Version: macOS 15.0.1

The most frequently used should be the first suggestion.

Thanks folks I'll let the team know of your continued interest janpeeters
Typically, old posts close to help keep the content fresh. If you think another one is needed fire one up, just like you did. We're glad to keep filing the feedback. Thanks.

1P_TommyIn a way I can understand this to keep things fresh, but when feature requests are not implemented and there is still interest, closing threads is not a good idea.
In that sense the 1P communicity is not an ideal tool for gathering interest in features. More and more companies use voting platforms where people can vote on features. When it is implemented, it is marked done.

I agree! While I really love 1password and it's features, this has been requested for many, many years and we have been waiting patiently and hoping it gets added but it never does. How can this not be implemented yet? It should be simple to do. What are the issues preventing it from being implemented? Maybe we could help find a way.
I have way too many passwords on some sites and it's wasting a lot of time and getting me locked out of some of them sometimes and it's such a pointless waste of time. I really don't know why I'm doing this to myself anymore.
I've been searching for another password manager and testing so many of them but most of them have the bare minimum of features and none can seem to actually import all of the passwords from 1password yet due to the custom fields and whatnot. My annual renewal was coming up so I switched to monthly billing for now just because of this just in case I find one that can do the trick.
I've also been contemplating on making my own password manager just for this feature and if I have to do that I guess I will but really don't want to. Maybe I could just make my own browser extension to do it to.

Is this seriously still not implemented? This request dates back over ten years! Just https://1password.community/search?domain=all_content&query=Most%20Recently%20Used&sort=dateInserted&scope=site&source=community:
2014 (!!!): https://1password.community/discussion/24556/suggestion-sort-multiple-logins-by-most-recently-used
As a software developer myself, I can assure this is not hugely difficult. 1P_Dave, let's stop saying "we'll pass it along to the dev team" and give this task to that most recently hired 1Password newbie junior developer, who should knock it out, including automated tests, docs & QA, in less than a week, then immediately release an update.
Also, if it doesn't already exist, provide end users the ability to track feature requests and issues, lest we set up our public JIRA instance like https://openradar.appspot.com/page/1 or other board to track them for you.
Unbelievable, especially since other competitors have had this feature for literally years. Sheesh 🙄

Hello janpeeters! 👋
Thank you for the feedback! I can see how more sorting options, like sorting by recently used, would be useful to folks when using 1Password in the browser, and I've filed a feature request with our product team on your behalf. 🙂

Not only in the browser. On mobile this would save a lot of time and frustration too...
