I'm sorry that you're not seeing an option to always allow filling in one of your banking apps. Are you able to share the name of the app in question? I can check to see if this is a known issue.

There are actually several. RedCanoe Credit Union is one. But what I am suggesting is a MANUAL option, so when the automated logic doesn't work we can make the connection manually. This makes more sense to me than going after it app by app.

Thank you for that example. The manual option here would be to tap "Always allow" to tell 1Password that you'd like to fill that login into that particular app. Since the option isn't appearing, it looks like an issue is preventing 1Password from doing that.
Can you tell me if you still see the issue when using 1Password for Android version 8.10.74 (released last week): Find the version numbers for 1Password and your operating system
If you do then, so that we can investigate further, I'd like to ask you to create a diagnostics report from your Android device:
