Storing Credit Card Expiry Dates

Hi,

It looks like credit card expiry dates are not stored in the vault when I save a credit card in 1P. Why is this missing? Most sites will ask for expiry dates as well as the 3 digit CVV/Security code on the back of the card and it really is necessary for 1P to store this month and year so that it can be auto-populated on any site which requests credit card details. I see a discussion was started on this a few years ago but never resolved. Please can we have an update.

Thanks
N

  • Hello Nexus7! 👋

I'm sorry that you've run into issues saving your credit card in 1Password. 1Password should indeed save the expiry date for your credit card, is there a specific website where this isn't happening?

You can add an expiry date to your existing credit cards in 1Password by using one of the apps:

    1. Open and unlock the 1Password app.
    2. Select and edit your credit card item.
    3. Add the expiry date.
