I keep seeing a constant 50%+ CPU use from 1password. With it running, I'm getting +60ºC on my Apple Silicon machine.
I've submitted my Diagnostics to the team already.

Hi @justincbeck, thank you for sending along those diagnostics!
Apologies for the miscommunication in my previous post. Since we're in the Desktop Betas channel, I thought you were using 1Password for Mac 8, and provided steps to get diagnostics on that version. But in any case, we'll be happy to check out the diagnostics you've got! Our team will continue this conversation on the email side to keep everything in one place. Thank you again!

I found the diagnostic utility... Sending report now.

Hmmm... I have 1Password 7.9.4 installed through the Mac App Store. In my version I don't see a "Send Diagnostics" option where you suggested. Am I missing something? Do I have the wrong version installed?

Hi @justincbeck, my apologies - I mis-read the beginning of this thread. Mea culpa.
In any case, it would be great to have a diagnostic report from you. Here's how you can get that to us:
- Open 1Password for Mac as you usually do.
- Up at the top of your screen, select 1Password > Preferences > Advanced > Send Diagnostics.
This will generate a diagnostic file that you can then attach to your email to us. 👍
And by the way, no need to send along logs if you are able to get us the diagnostic file - the diagnostics are the more comprehensive of the two.
You can reach us at support+mac@1Password.com. We'll look for you over there! 👋

I don't have a support ticket but I'd be happy to create a support request if that would be helpful. Regarding a diagnostic report, I've not done that either but again, I certainly can. I'll send logs too. Let me see if I can suss out how to do both of those things.

@justincbeck - ah, very sorry to learn of this. Can you share your support ticket ID here so I can track things down for you? It should look something like this:
[#AAA-12345-123]
That'll help us make sure we've got all the relevant information in one place. 👍
Typically, a diagnostic report from the app is the most helpful thing for our specialists, and I see that you mentioned sending some to our team at the top of this thread. That's great (and I'll be happy to follow up on that). If you find yourself in a situation where you can't send diagnostics, though - say because the app is crashing too much - you can always send us logs, which are often very informative as well. If you're not able to get diagnostics, let us know and we can show you how to get the logs.
I hope this is helpful!

It appears to still be happening for me. What information would be helpful to you?

I just updated (I hadn’t) so I’m going to see how it goes. I’ll reply again after a couple of days.

Hey @justincbeck:
Thanks for chiming in! Just to confirm, you've updated 1Password in your browser to 2.3.2 or 2.3.3 beta, and fully restarted 1Password for Mac? Let me know, and I can dig in further with you.
