Sync issues between iphone and cloud and desktop/laptops

Just updated to the latest and greatest version of 1Password on Mac: 1Password for Mac 8.10.50
81050025, on PRODUCTION channel

I looked this up and it's documented as an issue as far back as 2018, but that discussion is CLOSED.

So has it been fixed and suddenly it's now a NEW recurrence of this issue? I'm genuinely confused and trying to resolve this as quickly as possible. Please advise!
