Thorium browser - 1Password extension can not connect to app

Thorium is an optimised version of Chromium.
1Password Extension starts and can't connect to the app.

"Looking for the 1Password app", then "Couldn’t connect to 1Password. Make sure you have the 1Password app installed. "
Stays on page https://agilebits.com/browsers/welcome.html

All other extensions removed, restarted browser and 1Password.
Other Chromium based browsers work fine with 1P extension.

Other 15+ extensions work fine in Thorium.

Anything can be done?
