Touch ID does not work to open 1Password on the Mac Safari browser extension. does work to open app

Have Mac running OS Ventura 13.0.1. Running 1Password for Mac 8.9.8.
Touch ID no longer works on Safari browser extension.
It does work to open app.

1Password Version: 8.9.8
Extension Version: 2.4.1
OS Version: 13.0.1

    Hey kendonw 👋:

    Can you completely close Safari and restart your Mac to see if it helps? When we've had reports of this occurring, users have reported that restarting their device helped resolve the issue.
