Touch ID does not work with Sequoia

ModeratorAll I know is from a user perspective, the delay between placing a finger on the Apple Keyboard and either a website getting password info or logging in to my computer, what use to take milliseconds now visibly takes seconds.
It sounds like you're seeing this delay with Touch ID wherever you use it, not just 1Password. Is that correct or did I misunderstand? If I understood correctly, and you're seeing the delay even when using Touch ID to unlock your Mac itself, then I would recommend reaching out to Apple so that they can help resolve the issue: Official Apple Support
If Apple does help you to resolve the issue when using Touch ID to unlock your Mac (and other apps) but you still see the issue with 1Password then let me know and I can help further.
