Touch ID Prompts Twice every time with Cmd+\ Hotkeys

+1 this issue, I have...

  • Apple M1 Pro
  • OSX 14.1 (updating to 14.1.1. now, will update if this resolved anything).
  • 1Password for Mac 8.10.18 (81018040).

This has actually been happening for a few weeks, ~100% consistently. Double prompts with both touch ID on my MBP with the laptop open but also double prompts on my Apple Watch when it's closed as well. Happy to provide further information / debug info if that helps.

With OSX 14.1.1 and 1Password for Mac 8.10.20 (81020036) I run into the same issue, confirmed with touch ID and apple watch. This does NOT happen if I enter my password instead of either touch ID or watch options though. I can 100% repro this by manually locking and then using Cmd+\ to try to un-lock again.
