Unfortunately, everyone is seeing what happens when a company gives up control of the company to the providers of venture capital. Quality takes a huge hit and is forced to take a back seat to quantity. Sadly, AgileBits is no longer the company that we knew, loved, and most of all trusted. I believe the co-founders have been relegated to a minority position, and no longer have any true saying in the development and operation related to 1Password.
