    Hi @mossum:

Thanks for your feedback! We'd strongly recommend not storing any form of secrets unencrypted, especially not your account password. The use of Windows Hello to unlock 1Password does not store your account password unencrypted, but instead creates a second key that's stored in memory only. If authentication with Windows Hello fails, that key is thrown away, and using your account password is then required to unlock 1Password -- About Windows Hello security in 1Password for Windows

If you'd like to not use Windows Hello, and are having trouble with remembering your account password, have you taken a look at our tips on how to choose a good 1Password account password?

Let me know! Just as an FYI, I've split your post off into a new thread. 😀

I have a similar issue. And I don't want to use Windows Hello. I used to be able to paste my 1Password password from my saved clipboard items to log in. It appears that feature has now been disabled. My only workaround at this point is to save a Notepad doc with my password in it to my Desktop, open that and then copy and paste my pwd into the 1Password login screen. Doable but tedious. I'd like to see this work the way it did before the update.
