Unable to scan QR Code

I am trying to log into my account thru the web and when I get to the 2fa choices I try using my phone to get a passkey and scan the QR code but keep getting an unable to read QR code, so in effect I...

Hello jprisch! 👋

I'm sorry that you're having trouble accessing an account. Just to clarify, are you trying to sign into your 1Password account? If you are then can you tell me the following:

  1. Are you using a beta 1Password account that unlocks using a passkey? Or are you using a 1Password account that unlocks using an account password and Secret Key that you enabled two-factor authentication for?
  2. Did you save a security key (which is usually a hardware key like a YubiKey) as a passkey in 1Password or some other password manager?
  3. Can you post a screenshot of the message that you see? Make sure that nothing sensitive is visible in the screenshot.

If you're trying to access a different account, not your 1Password account then let me know.
