Unexpected Safari Extension "New Sign-In" Email Alert

So I'm at work and suddenly receive Safari Extension "New Sign-In" email alert. This was unexpected because I'd been using the 1PW desktop app and Safari Extension all day and I certainly didn't logo...

I am seeing this as well, but only after clearing history or when using private browser mode? Is there a way preventing such notifications? I know, this is supposed to be a security feature, but can 1Password Browser extension not verify a existing „connection“ to the browser or device with a different way then relying on session cookies?
