Upgrade to 1Password for Mac 8 - When 1Password 7.x Was Installed through the Mac App Store

I am using 1Password 7.x (latest version) that I installed through the Mac App Store on macOS 12.x. How do I upgrade to 1Password 8 for mac when that is the case? download 1Password 8 from the ...

Thank you for the reply on this.

My subscription is direct with 1Password, but I selected to install the app through the Mac App Store on the Mac.

So with the fact, that I have installed the app through the Mac App Store - will downloading version 8 from your website update the existing 7.x install or will it result in a second installation?

When you are planning to release it through the Mac App Store?

I use 1Password also on Windows, where I obtained the installer directly from you. On my iDevices, I obtained them from the App Store.
