Hello birchmeier! 👋
Thank you for such detailed feedback! I'm sorry for missing your post last year. At the moment the best way to store directory-controlled logins and avoid issues is to have a single login item with multiple website URLs and labeled sections for your usernames. Then you can leave the default username blank, fill your password and drag and drop the appropriate username for each website.
That being said, I'll pass your suggestion along to our product team. While I can't make any promises, they'll considering adding that sort of functionality to 1Password in the future.
j3h and TKramer1 I've passed along your feedback as well. Thank you for helping us make 1Password better.

Support,
I love 1Password — both for enterprise and personal use — and this feature request would be a fantastic improvement. Like many others here, I regularly manage multiple username aliases across numerous services and environments. Having a single-entry solution that supports these variations would reduce friction and streamline login workflows.
I’ve seen some workarounds suggested, like creating multiple entries or using custom fields, but they’re not scalable for heavy users or teams. The proposed approach in this feature request, allowing multiple usernames within a single entry, is elegant and user-friendly. It would improve not only usability but also data hygiene and consistency across vaults.
Thanks for considering this! Keep up the great work — 1Password continues to be an essential tool in my toolkit.
