Using URL from the app adds extra string to the actual URL in the browser

Hello

When I click URL in the desktop app, it adds extra string to the actual URL in the browser. Why is that?

Here is an example.

I click on website and here is the resulting URL

1Password Version: Windows 8.8.0 80800156
Extension Version: Not Provided
OS Version: Not Provided

    The extra characters occur when using "open and fill". We append those characters as instructions to the extension, essentially saying "when this page loads, fill this entry's credentials". These characters do not contain any user data so your information is completely safe.
