1Password v7 and the browser plugins have the ability to select which vaults you want to use when showing All Items or the Search. This feature is useful to me b/c I don't want personal vault items to appear in my searches when I'm at work. Did this feature get skipped for v8?

Collections look like the way to go. Although I went ahead and just archived everything in my Ignore vault for now. I should have done that migration when Archive was introduced. But it's good to know about Collections moving forward. Thanks!

Try creating a collection and then excluding the archive vault you describe from that collection. Then you'll work and search from within that collection.

+1. 1Password user since 2009, so I probably have outdated usage patterns. For example, before there was an archive, I created an Ignore vault that I moved things to and then excluded the Ignore vault from search. Now in 1P 8, all those items have "reappeared."

Hi @sbutler , 👋
Thank you for this request! I created a feature request a little while back for a vault-specific search ability, and am happy to add a vote on your behalf for the feature. Thanks for sharing why this was useful for you - and I hope that updates to come will delight you.

Agree! Yes, it would be good to be able to set some Vault Collection as the default. Currently, it seems that 1Password 8 always reverts to my account vaults, instead of the last collection that I used,
