I have been told that 1Password used to have such a feature but it was removed at some point...
My password manager account password is long and complex so I am not going to use that. I have found biometrics unreliable (too many failures). A device passcode, pin or pattern is meant to unlock the device. IMO, that should be it's only purpose. There are those in my household who know how to access my phone in an emergency but that does not mean I want them accessing my password manager! Therefore, IMO, use of such device passcode, pin or pattern is not appropriate to also protect sensitive apps such as my password manager.
It is quite common for individual apps that need extra security to have their own passcode. A password manager is the most important and sensitive app on my phone which I therefore believe merits its own unique passcode. If 1Password cannot do this then I will seek a different password manager that will give the protection that I believe such apps need.
