watchtower on 1pw 8 on Mac

I moved to 1pw 8 on Mac. My score is not improving. I have managed to remove legends of tomorrow of duplicates, old once, etc. I have added secure sites, removed not needed once, updated few weak passwords and many improvements. But still my score is down. However when I click on manage collection the score for other accounts is better. Should this score not improve when updating and securing data?

    Are you using 1Password 8 in all locations? It sounds as if you might have version 8 on iOS and 7 on Android.

    My watchtower score in 1pw on Mac & iPhone and Android are difference. It different for iOS and Android. This is for the same vault. Why? I'm surprised with this. This is absolutely same set on all devices. Why can't you have same style of managing option under a tab? The watchtower on iOS is different from Android. Watchtower in iOS tab has option to switch collections on left top corner but not in Android. Let the feel and working be the same.

    Andrew1 - nice hit on local library . Our online (statewide) library is the same ; 4 characters and only alpha. you would think the IT folks would know better.

    I'm glad to hear you're using Watchtower! I'm unable to share specific details about how the score is calculated, but seeing different scores for different accounts/collections is expected behaviour as it reflects that specific pool of items.

    My recommendation to improve your Watchtower score further would be to address Watchtower alerts, you can find these on the applicable items themselves, or on the same page where you check your score in the 1Password 8 Mac app. If you have items that cannot be improved for whatever reason (for example, my local library branch will only let me use a 4 digit pin code for security 😞) you can ask Watchtower to ignore those items:
