What happened to "Generate Password" and "Pin to Desktop" in 1P 8?
Opening current login record, options are not shown. Also had to update current password but system popup window never appeared asking to save as new or update current record....I had to manually up...

You can open an item in a new window by clicking the 3 dot menu while viewing the item from the main 1Password app, then "Open in new window". Were you updating this password on a website? Were you prompted by 1Password to generate a new password in-line, like so?
