What justifies the huge subscription price increase?

I canceled my sub following receiving the price increase email this afternoon for three reasons in case it helps 1Password or other users:
- I was not happy about the data breach and having to change my passkey.
- I'm in the Apple ecosystem and their password manager has every feature I need; and is more convenient.
- The price is unjustifyable given that when I do need to log into something via Windows or Linux, I can use just use Chrome's password manager.
I can't speak for the value of business or enterprise users, but for home users, I can't see the value--especially with powerful alternatives like Apple's password app. I had planned on keeping both, but this price increase made my decision easy.

I would actually be interested in this as well — what data breach are you referring to?
As far as I know, I haven’t received any notification about a breach affecting my account, and I have not changed my Secret Key so far. Did I miss something, or are you referring to a specific incident?

On February 9th of this year I was prompted by 1Password to change my passkey due to security concerns, so I did. I did it through the app itself which sent me to the browser, but then I knew it was safe that way.
Regarding the details, I can't remember. I apologize if I am throwing out misinformation through improper wording.
My frustration is in having to change the passphrase following a security warning.
