White flash when opening 1Password

Whenever I open 1Password after a while, the screen flashes white with maybe a second of delay, then shows a loading circle animation for the items in the vault. This is like the previous flash is...

1Password updated to 8.4.0 and the white flash is back, either by launching via keyboard shortcut and clicking the 1Password icon in the system tray.
