4 years agoI know this. I was highlighting the difference between 1Password 8 and prior versions. If a page presents a username and password field (only) and there is an existing entry for this page in 1Password, then there is NO point of "Save in 1Password" as it duplicates the autofill entries. This makes the simple primary control flow more complicated. Before if you autofilled the entry AND changed the password before submitting it on the webpage, 1Password was smart enough to figure out you changed something relative to its database and prompted for you to save the changes.
Now it seems I have to ignore the "save in 1Password" 99% of the time. THAT'S WHAT MAKES 1Password 8 more complicated.
