From the communication in several changelogs and forum threads and the number of times they announced that they've fixed something I'm not even sure they fully understand the issue or know how a correct implementation should look like :-(

I'm sorry for the frustration caused by the date formatting issues in the 1Password app. We know how important accurate and consistent dates are and many previously reported issues have already been resolved. Earlier this year, we released enhanced date formatting in the desktop app to fix inconsistencies when viewing and editing items, and we've now ensured that dates follow your system’s preferred language rather than 1Password’s display language.
To help with the issues that you're seeing in the current version of 1Password on iOS/macOS/Window, I recommend sending an email to support@1Password.com, and opening a support ticket, so that my colleagues and I can investigate further and consolidate the various issues that you're currently seeing in a support ticket. Please include a link to this thread in your email.
After emailing in, you'll receive a reply from BitBot, our friendly robot assistant with a Support ID that looks something like [#ABC-12345-678]. Post that here, and I'll be able to locate your message.

Still broken in 8.11.18 on iOS (and even more on 8.11.20 on macOS/Windows), except for the date picker which now uses the correct first day of week (at least on iOS, still broken on macOS/Windows).
When I temporarily change the app language in 1Password iOS settings to German it works so you are still using the display language to determine date/time format instead of using the system's regional settings. Why is that still a thing after so many years?

I'm a bit in shock that it's been more than 2 years already that 1Password is "actively progressing to get this issue resolved" and this still is a daily annoyance. I expected much more from 1Password, and hope that they did not give up.

I'm sorry that you're still seeing date formatting issues on various platforms. Please send an email to support@1Password.com to open a support ticket so that my colleagues and I can look into these issues further. Please include a link to this thread.

I noticed today that it looks like at least the display of added dates in item details is now correct for me on macOS and iOS (but still broken on Windows), so there is at least some progress. Thanks for that.
However it is still broken when editing items (including a date picker which starts weeks on Sunday instead of Monday), for dates and times (12 vs. 24 hours) in "last edited" and "added" on the bottom of item details, in item history, and minor stuff like "last checked for update" on all platforms that I use (macOS, iOS, Windows).
Going at that pace this issue might actually be fully resolved in 1 or 2 years :-) - 1P_Dave

Still broken in 8.10.46 on iOS (and also on macOS and Windows), any updates?

Thank you for the screenshots. I've reproduced this issue on my end and flagged this scenario to our development team who will investigate further.
I appreciate you both taking the time to report this issue so that we can get things fixed. There's no need to post separately in the Mac thread, I've passed along your reports for both platforms.

Here are screenshots for both iPad and iPhone.

Here you go:
Please note that I have the same issue on macOS. Should I add a new message with Mac screenshots in the other thread?

I've created a new thread for iOS so that we can have that discussion separately. So that I can pass the information along to our development team, can you take a screenshot of the following location on your iOS devices:
- Open the Settings app.
- Tap General.
- Tap Language & Region.
Make sure that the screenshot includes both the preferred languages section, the region, and the Region Format Example. I look forward to hearing from you.

1P_Dave The time is part of a date, no? So the issue I reported is about this specific update. It has improved, but both the date and the time are not formatted according to my operating system's language settings.
iOS Settings (also set to 24h, not 12h):
1Password iOS:
Same story on macOS.
