Will 1password identify duplicate entries when importing from two separate browsers (chrome and edge).?I am asking about duplicate imported entries not duplicate passwords.

While 1Password will not detect the duplicates, each import will be tagged so you can work through and locate any duplicates. Move your data into your account on 1Password.com
