Windows Hello isn't working properly and questions about passkey beta

I've got a lovely long password to sign in to my 1Password account. Don't like typing it in to the extension every time I reopen my browser (a fair number of times, since I use 4 operating systems). ...

Thank you for the reply. I'm sorry that you're running into trouble with biometrics when using 1Password for Windows and Linux. Let's focus on Windows for a moment, so that I can better understand the situation, can you tell me the following:

  1. After you enter your account password, are you then able to use Windows Hello in the browser?
  2. Are you able to use Windows Hello to unlock the 1Password for Windows desktop app?
  3. In which browser are you encountering the issue?

Any ideas for a good USB fingerprint scanner that works well on Linux?

I don't have any specific recommendations myself but perhaps someone else in the community will be able to jump in and recommend one. 🙂
