The release notes for 1Password for iOS version 7.7.7 https://app-updates.agilebits.com/product_history/OPI4#v70707002, so it's possible that the reason might be a different one entirely.

Unfortunately we are unable to troubleshoot issues with the WLAN server beyond the scope of that article. My suspicion is that using macOS Sierra and an older 1Password for Mac app (the latest version is 7.8.7, while you are using 7.6) might have something to do with this.
