You can now use a passkey for this item.
This is not a "mac" question, but I didn't know where to post this... Excuse my ignorance on this passkey option in 1Password. So far I have ignored these "suggestions" because I'm no sure how it all...

2 years agoPasskeys are a modern alternative to passwords β they enable people to log in to their online accounts without having to enter a password. Unlike passwords, you canβt create a weak passkey. Passkeys are generated by 1Password using a public-private key pair, which makes them strong and unique by default. Passkeys can't be phished like traditional passwords because the underlying private key never leaves 1Password β this also makes them resistant to social engineering scams.
Passkeys are safely stored in 1Password itself and they're protected using the same encryption and security as your passwords today. You can read more about passkeys on our blog:

- Save and Sign In with Passkeys Using 1Password on the Web and iOS
I see some have MFA. Does that require another app like PingID, etc.?
Nope! You can also save passkeys for MFA right in 1Password: Save and sign in with passkeys in your browser
Let me know if you have any other questions. π
