Hi,
I am redirected to the login page, with the error message "Your session has expired. Please sign in again to authenticate 1Password.".
Even if I login (using the browser), and it says I successfully logged in, it seems like the 1password extensions opens the login page again.
I can still search the vault using the extension.

Hey @coolio,
Can you let me know which version of 1Password in your browser you have installed?
If the issue is persisting can you try the latest beta version, things should work as expected here:
- Right click the 1Password icon in your browser toolbar and remove the extension
- Install the latest beta from here: Use 1Password beta releases.
Let us know how you get on!

I just wanted to share my frustration regarding this issue as I have been experiencing it for months (since Oct/Nov if I remember correctly).
I reached out to support in Jan and provided the requested files and was told it was a known issue and is being looked into. They've suggested disabling 2FA will help/fix this but it's not something I'm comfortable doing given the sensitivity of the data inside a password manager.
The ID is #QPU-42612-975 if it helps.

Hi Joshua_ag
Unfortunately, not solved. Unable to save generated passwords. And even after disabling integration with the app and enabling again, lots of problems. Apart from the save problem (very annoying) 1P keeps on opening new tabs for no reason. Any update planned? Just now it opened another tab, https://prnt.sc/hkLgWrLXLGvl. OMG super frustrating. Hope you can fix this. Windows 11 Chrome Version 110.0.5481.104 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Hi Ronso,
Thanks so much for the update. Glad you figured it out. Yes if you change those keys 1Password is not guaranteed to work as we set them in particular ways to ensure we can communicate between the app and extension among other device integrations. I realize your situation is unique, but in general we do not recommend changing registry keys manually.

Hi Joshua_ag ,
I found the problem in my case and it seems that it was my fault.
I use a script, that removes a registry key from "HKEY_CURRENT_USER", so my company does not detect 1Password as installed Software.
I saw in developer console, that the extension cannot find the App.
So I restored the key and voila, the extension gets instant connection to the app.I now just removes the displayname value from the registry for the software scanner and the app still works as expected.
The complete path must be there:
Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\1Password
May this information is helpful for anyone.
Again thanks for support and sorry for the circumstances 😁

@DigitalJEM & @ogessel,
Thanks for trying it out let us know how it goes!
That sounds like a slightly different issue, though to be sure let's look more into it by confirming your settings. Here's what to check:
In the 1Password app:
1. Unlock the 1Password app.
2. Click the three-dot menu in the top-left of the window.
3. Click Settings.
4. Click Security in the new window that appears.
5. Check the length of time after the text "Lock after computer is idle for"Is that set to 10 minutes?
In 1Password in Edge:
1. Click on the 1Password icon in Edge's toolbar.
2. Unlock 1Password if need be.
3. Click the menu icon (it is a circle with three lines).
4. Click Settings.
5. Check if the setting is turned on that is titled "Integrate with the 1Password app".After checking those let me know:
* What were those settings set to?
* If you change those settings does your experience change?
* When you unlocked the app and / or extension did you notice any new tabs opening?
* Do you have two-factor authentication set up within the app?Thank you in advance!
