Automated bi-directional sync between 1Password and AWS Secrets Manager — is this actually possible?

Following up here, bi-directional support is not supported at this time with the beta.  You can learn more about what is and is not supported here -  https://developer.1password.com/docs/environments/aws-secrets-manager/#limitations 

Regarding the “IdP” you are configuring here is an AWS IAM SAML identity provider resource used by the 1Password sync service, not your Entra ID setup for human SSO. The AWS setup is per environment integration.
