Hey everyone! 👋 A new episode of 1Password's Random but Memorable podcast has dropped!

Episode summary
Why does Hollywood get hacking wrong in so many movies and TV series? 🎬🎥 In this episode, we invite Ralph Echemendia to share his wild stories working in Hollywood as a technical supervisor on award-winning projects like Mr. Robot, Snowden, Savages, and Nerve. We also shine a spotlight on the work Ralph is doing to help the world’s most influential record labels and movie studios protect what they’re working on.

In Watchtower Weekly, we learn how a resentful developer used a kill switch to sabotage employer's systems. 👨‍💻

I have to say the Alternative Security Questions ™ was the most thought provoking so far. I mean being able to convincingly fake a sneezing fit could be quite useful. I suppose being great at collecting AC adaptors might rank up there - but it's not totally useless 😏

The sentient object had me remembering the BBC show Red Dwarf where they have a toaster that constantly asks what heated bread products anyone nearby wants.  Or the elevators in HitchHiker'sGuideToTheGalaxy where they always are sad and want to go down instead of up. Still, the image of someone crying into a sink that is saying "there-there" is just too funny🤣

Is this sort of comment OK in this lounge? Anyway, Thanks for another great episode and this new community site.

Are you kidding? This is the kind of comment our community forum was built for! Love it. ❤️

I love your reflections on our Alternative Security Questions ™ segment. I must admit, Matt, Sara & Roo's answers always surprise me every week.

I would also very much like a sentient toaster that would ask what heated bread products I would like at any given point in the day. 🤣
