Tool: Enterprise Password Manager/Personal Password Manager
Platform: Web
Tip: While bookmarks and auto-completion in the address bar work well for opening a page only in the current tab - often requiring opening a new tab before starting, doing the same in the plugin automagically opens the site in a new tab or a current new tab (and replaces the "new tab" as the first page in the tab history).

Platform: Web
Tip: Update the website field from the URL captured during a sign up or registration to that of a login page so that the Open and fill function from the browser plugin will open a new tab and sign you in to the (well-behaved) site.

Platform: Mac, Windows, Linux
Tip: Export your data directly to secure storage periodically. Click⁝, Export > (or platform equivalent), choose your Account, enter your password, select each of 1PUX and CSV, and click Export Data. Choose your accessible secure storage location for the unencrypted text file containing your secrets. Ensure that you access to this secure storage does not require secrets stored only in 1Password.

Platform: Web, iOS, Android, Mac, Windows, Linux
Tip: Use another trusted password manager. 1Password may always be the best quality and value, the service be available every time you need it, every version of the software run on every version of every platform on which you need it, and will never en**bleep**ify... but a really easy way to back up your data is to import the 1PUX into another tool; a bonus feature being able to use it directly.

Tip: Don't worry that 1Password is one of the last desktop applications to not work natively with Wayland and with the ongoing deprecation of X11 will soon be unusable, as either 1Password will release a working client, or we can easily migrate to another trusted password manager with a working client.
