What business/security policies exist within your organisation?
We understand that for many small businesses adopting a password manager might be your first step towards securing your business. This may be the first time you’ve encountered many cybersecurity concepts, let alone thought about implementing them into existing workflows.
There is no one-size-fits-all answer to security. Your policies will be influenced by your industry, processes, standards, risk factors and more. Here are all the available policies with 1Password Business. While we can’t say definitively “This is how it should be done” we’re happy to provide some guidance to help you find the policies that are right for you and how to support and enforce those policies using 1Password.
For instance, we recommend using the Principle of Least Privilege (PoLP.) This is a security practice we ourselves use at 1Password, and refers to a practice that restricts users to the minimum levels of access necessary to perform their work.
