Summary: Add Community guidelines to the Resources drop-down in the header, or replace menu with items relevant to the Community. After reading email notifications of yet more spam and that the moderators had again quickly removed the posts, I read a one which I anticipated would start a fascinating discussion. Visiting the post on the site, I saw that it was removed. As much fun as it might be to demand that the moderators defend their callous violation of our inalienable and non-existent right to post whatever we want in a private forum, instead I thought to check the law/rules/policy/guidelines/suggestions... for the Community, confident that of all documentation for the Community, this would be the easiest to find. From the home page I found nothing in the main body of the page, so checking the menu items in the header, the Resources drop-down was the obvious choice. Of the five items in the drop-down menu, Guides and toolkits and Help and documentation seemed the most likely choices,

The minimum expectation for account security on any random web forum is a TOTP based second factor, but this is no random web forum. Just about every instance of the popular forum platform Discourse and many others offer modern account security and work well with 1Password.It's no fun having your customers second-guess you choices of technology partners, but while something like the lack of dark mode is an example of a disappointing failure, this is almost unbelievable.

Flagged before in another post as a reply, but for @1P_Blake or @1P_SimonH or @1P_Timothy please address at least a topic for which these notifications are send:

Unless I'm mistaken the forum threads seem to be in the order of the last comment but show the date of the original post.Is this something I can change to show the date & time of the last comment?

It used to be Policy that 1Password Discussions were automatically locked after a set Period of time, after 6 months or 1 year. The new Discussion Forum doesn't have such a Policy?I've noticed all my old Posts are open? Whichever posts were imported from the old Discussion Forum...

I'm having great difficulty using thr forum on my phone. The site appears to work well on a PC but is practically useless on a phone. The site will not scroll, loads with the initial page greatly magnified so only about 50% of the page is visible, etc.I can shrink the page using gesture zoom, but it will not stay there, it pops back to the enlarged view each time. Has the site been designed to be responsive to mobile devices?

Send your audio file to podcast@1password.com and it might be included in the episode! The audio doesn’t need to be studio quality, but record in a quiet space if possible. Thanks all, we look forward to hearing your answers!

I was very disappointed when I logged into this new community for the first time.  The password is overly complex.  Your own best practices recommend password length over password complexity.  See the two article below:  https://blog.1password.com/how-long-should-my-passwords-be/#how-important-is-password-complexityhttps://blog.1password.com/nist-password-guidelines-update/You would have been much better off just requiring a minimum length (of say 24 characters) and removing all the complexity.  You should do better to reinforce the your stated best practices in your own systems.

I am dismayed at the new Community forums here. Absolutely terrible for browsing or frequent interaction. It shows a mere 5-10 topics at a time, with no option for a more compact view that presents more. And then you have to click "Show More" and wait seconds for only 5-10 more topics, but there are currently more than 19,000 topics for Password Manager! If you refresh the page, it does not save your place; if you had been trying to survey recent discussions or browse recent topics to learn something new, you're going to have to "dig" with multiple "Show More" clicks to get back to where you were. There are no filters for conversations of interest or for hiding topics you have already read (and that have no new responses). This is a major step back from the previous forums, and a serious departure from their more collaborative character. This new system seems actively _hostile_ to community conversation.

The activity in lounge is low and has been a waste of my time. Going to post only in Password Manager and Developer forums.

Wondering if anyone is playing with the new MCP protocols on Claude Desktop with Mac. I have been blown away at capabilities and i only setup 2 days ago. Look at the following Github repos to see examplesRepo for 1passwordRepo for Apple Tools

20,304 Members 61 Online 22,032 PostsI was curious to know if community members could access the activity for the 1Password community since its relaunch. The splash page indicates that the community is quite active, but I’m not certain if this is accurate considering the recent relaunch.

It's been a few months since I last signed in and had to reset my password in order to sign in. Also, the community looks different now. Where are all the topics and discussion threads from before? Where did my old posts go, I can't find them? Lastly, where do I change settings like my email address? Thanks!

As title says https://chat.1passwordservices.com/switch link is not working. It says Please enable Javascript or turn off any ad blockers to load this page. but I already disabled adblockers on my browsers (tried with Brave and Firefox) but still it is popping up.Please fix this.

One of the reasons I have been using 1Password for more than a decade (approaching two!) now is because of trust.  For example, on your about page right now you post this message, which I like:Your private information is yours, and we don't sell it or give it away. Wherever possible, we don't even collect it.Yay. That's good, right?  So why when I visit your website am I asked to give you permission to sell my data, unless I take explicit action to opt out of that?

Hi,Received an email from 1Password today 05 May 25 advising to update my Linux before 16 May 25.  Here's the thing. I've used 1Password since version 3, stand-a-lone software. No cloud. I've NEVER received an email from 1Password. So this is unusual. No where can I find guidance for a possible phishing email. So here I am asking for the info to forward this email so I can find out if it is legit. Why isn't there a confirmed process that if emails are sent, all of your customers know the email is a true email from 1Password? Please advise where I am to send an email that might be a scam, fake, fraud etc. Thank you

We've all seen some interesting password choices out there! In the spirit of World Password Day, what's the funniest, least-secure, or just plain facepalm-worthy password habit you've ever witnessed someone else doing?

Would love to get a list going of funny wifi network names for guest networks.Abe's Heartrate Monitor was pretty funny

In the process of typing things here - I've inadvertently closed the browser where I was typing 😱I was resigned to having to type it all over again - but I was pleasantly surprised to find that when I migrate back to where I was, what I had previously typed was miraculously put back in there!🙌Thanks so much for doing that! I think there's lots of other forums and online places where it's just GONE.
