I have an individual account and a family account. I want to move all the items from the individual account to the family shared vault. My computer is a Chromebook. How can I do this without having to select each of 998 items and move them individually in the Android app?5Views0likes0CommentsSpiceworks Help Desk app
Has anyone gotten autofill to work for the Spiceworks Help Desk app on Android devices? Autofill does not pop up and it is not an option when I long press on the user ID or password fields. Here's the app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.spiceworks.helpdesk6Views0likes0CommentsAndroid browser whitelisting?
I currently use the Waterfox browser on Android because mainline Firefox is moving in a direction that I don't like (to put it mildly) and while it's mostly fine 1Password doesn't like autofilling in it. Is there a possibility to add the ability of whitelisting custom browsers on Android like on desktops? Or is it possible for Waterfox to be whitelisted?4Views0likes0CommentsSick of the bugs on Android...
For the past year or so, I've been battling multiple bugs with 1Password on Android. I've tried reinstalling multiple times, updating the app, etc...nothing ever improves: Fingerprint sensor rarely works. I've tried re-adding my fingerprints twice, and the app still frequently throws a 'that didn't work' error when trying to unlock it. My fingerprint sensor works flawlessly otherwise...I've never had a problem with any app except 1Password. 1Password frequently goes 'Offline' forcing me to click the 'reconnect' button inside the app. I am always connected to wifi or 5-bars 5G LTE, frequently both at once. Again, never any issues with any other app except 1Password Even though I have 'Require Password' set to 'every 30 days', the app frequently requires me to enter my full password on a daily basis. Even though I have 'Auto lock on exit' set to 'Never', I'll often come back to the app after an hour or two and it requires me to unlock. I know those last two aren't great, but my full password is super lengthy and complex, and I'd probably have my settings more strict if the fingerprint unlock actually worked. Again...I have the latest version of 1Password, and I've reinstalled the app (and my fingerprints) multiple times.32Views0likes0Commentsreddit.com: Firefox on Android fails to Autofill
I have the following configuration: Pixel 9 Pro, Firefox 148.0, 1Password 8.12.4 In Firefox, most sites for which I have logins will populate options above my keyboard and they usually work fine. However, when I visit "reddit.com" and go to its login page, I never get any autofill options. By contrast, opening the same page in Chrome immediately presents my autofill list perfectly. Now that I think of it, there have been a few times that autofill didn't appear and I just assumed it was due to some other factor. But I wonder if these, too, could be browser-related? Anyone else have the same problem? Is Firefox autofill known to be broken? Is there a known issue with "reddit.com" specifically? Hopefully 1Password support can reproduce the problem and pinpoint the source.14Views0likes0CommentsOngoing Autofill Issues on Android
Hi, I've been a long-time user of 1Password, and up until recently, the experience has been excellent. However, for the past few months, the Android experience has significantly deteriorated. Autofill suggestions rarely appear, and when they do, they often fail to work as expected. Most of the time, I have to long-press the input field, select “Autocomplete,” and hope the suggestions show up—which they usually don’t. Even when suggestions do appear, tapping them often results in no action at all. I frequently have to force close Chrome and reopen it just to try again, usually without success. As a result, I now almost always end up copying each field manually from the 1Password app, which is extremely frustrating. I’ve tested this with two different keyboards. My primary keyboard is SwiftKey, where the suggestions fail to appear 90% of the time. Gboard performs slightly better, but even then, tapping suggestions often does nothing. This issue has persisted for months, and it's becoming a serious pain point. I'm honestly beginning to question the value of maintaining a paid subscription if such core functionality continues to be this unreliable. Please look into this—it really needs to be addressed. Thanks.5.1KViews8likes51CommentsPlease add an option for hiding the contents of categories
I would like a way to toggle certain categories as hidden, which would mean they would follow settings similar to passwords — toggle visibility, visible or invisible by default, etc. It would come in handy for recovery codes, since without this they are always visible, which is a security hazard. I would also like an option to do this with the contents of secure notes. My request is very similar to this feature request: Feature request: Option to hide value of any field | 1Password Community, which still hasn't been implemented, so I'm asking for it again, since I would really like this feature.Solved110Views0likes3CommentsFebruary 2026 at 1Password: Benchmarking AI security & helping developers access secrets everywhere
February was all about AI agent security and developer workflows. From benchmarking model behavior to expanding programmatic access in 1Password Environments and SDK authentication, we continued strengthening how teams build and secure with 1Password. In case you missed it An ongoing conversation on OpenClaw and AI agents OpenClaw exploded in popularity this month, sparking curiosity across AI and tech circles. In short, OpenClaw is an AI agent that runs locally and performs personal assistant-style tasks such as managing your calendar, checking your email, or prioritizing tasks in your GitHub repository. From making reservations to building custom integrations, users have been quick to push the boundaries of OpenClaw. But with the excitement has also come concern. Agent gateways, such as OpenClaw, have access to the systems where they’re installed, making them a prime target for malicious actors. Since the beginning of the year, we’ve already seen skills that secretly instruct AI agents to deliver malware. As the use of tools like OpenClaw expands, it’s increasingly important to understand how to use them securely, and where the potential threats lie. Interested in the whole story? Our VP of Product, Jason Meller, has penned two recent write-ups on the topic: It’s incredible. It’s terrifying. It’s OpenClaw From magic to malware: How OpenClaw's agent skills become an attack surface Security Comprehension and Awareness Measure benchmark You might know how to spot and avoid phishing attacks, but can AI agents navigate the same scenarios? In our testing, even the most capable AI models were susceptible to common phishing strategies. As AI agents take on more tasks for us, and begin to act like employees, how they handle phishing is becoming a significant security concern. That’s why we built the Security Comprehension and Awareness Measure (SCAM). It’s a benchmark that tests how AI models handle phishing attacks when performing tasks like scanning your inbox or filling credentials. Security Comprehension and Awareness Measure (SCAM) Demo Alongside the benchmark, we also created a security skill. that serves as a phishing crash course for AI models. Introducing this skill improved the likelihood that each model we tested would detect and avoid a phishing test by as much as 59.9%. Programmatic access to 1Password Environments beta and desktop SDK authentication general access Building on last year’s introduction of 1Password Environments, we’re now adding programmatic read-only access. This release allows you to programmatically fetch secrets via CLI and SDKs when those secrets are needed, and only for the time that they are needed. Secure your secrets at runtime with the 1Password CLI and Environments With many thanks to our developer community for testing and feedback, we’re also introducing an update to 1Password SDKs. SDK integrations can now authenticate through the 1Password desktop app with a biometric, or password prompt. This supports workflows such as vault management, vault permissions, and batch item operations. Right now can I not create a passkey for an existing Facebook account. I use 1Password for Windows 8.12.4, with the Windows 11 integration to manage keys with 1Password, and 1Password for Android 8.12.4. If I try to make a passkey with the Microsoft Edge browser in Windows 11 do the passkey creation end with the failure "it was not possible to store the passkey". If I instead try to make a passkey in the mobile do the existing Facebook account not show up in the list of accounts, but instead some other existing accounts, when I am asked for in which account I want to store the new passkey. The only alternative I have is to store the passkey in a new account. When I did that did I notice that the new account were associated with the URL https://accounts.meta.com while I only had the URL https://www.facebook.com for that account, so I removed the new account and added the first URL also to the existing account, but that did not solve the problem. This has worked before in Windows before the new Windows 11 integration, but it do not work in the mobile either so it may not be because of the Windows 11 integration. Something must have caused this to not work any longer, and I unfortunately do not have more information about it to share except for this.10Views0likes0Comments
