The last 3 days windows hello (in use with 1 password) doesn't accept input. And somehow caps lock is on even though the keyboard doesn't show it on. I saw that this was an issue a year ago, but it just occurred again with my system. I am on Win 11, with the latest updates, no VPN, using Chrome with the browser extension. I then get repeated requested to enter my full 1Password credentials. However after an hour, the timeout for 1Password, the same problem occurs. I have tried un enabling and then re enabling 1Password, to no effect. I also rebooted and then ran a full Microsoft Virus scan, but nothing was found.85Views3likes5CommentsHow to hide item in vault from chrome autofill extension
Hi, I have certain credit cards in my vault(s) that I use infrequently, however, they always appear in the chrome autofill. I want to disable specific credit cards from appearing in autofill suggestions. I do not want to archive them or move them to a specific vault. These credentials are referenced occasionally on the desktop application but are not used day-to-day. Any suggestions on how I can hide specific items from autofill? Odd 1Password behavior began earlier this week. After unlocking the 1Password Chrome browser extension on Windows 11 for the first time after laptop startup and logging into a site, the browser begins spawning new windows on each link click or each hit of "enter" after entering a URL in the browser bar (Chrome is not spawning a new tab or replacing the contents of the current tab, as is expected). In addition, the scroll wheel on my mouse becomes disabled. The only way I've found to recover (that is, stop new browser windows from appearing after each click and get my mouse scrolling back) is to do a full laptop shut down. Closing and reopening Chrome doesn't fix it. A simple restart doesn't fix it. It appears there was a recent version update (this week) of the Chrome browser on Windows 11, and a recent update (this month) of the 1Password Chrome extension. Windows 11 also installed a security update this week. I've done the usual troubleshooting steps of making sure all 1Password desktop app and browser extensions are up to date, and deactivated all other Chrome browser extensions. The 1Password Chrome extension remains connected to the 1Password desktop app. I've done a full antivirus/malware scan. My spouse, on a completely different Windows 11 laptop, also started experiencing the same 1Password Chrome extension behavior this week. It also requires a shut down to recover. Since this began, the only modification I've made to the 1Password Chrome browser extension is changing the "Site access" setting from "On all sites" to "On click" to at least give me some control over when 1Password is active when it's unlocked. It has not solved the problem, as the behavior generally returns once I unlock the browser extension and log into a site the first time after startup. In rare cases, it recovers without a shut down after a few minutes, but it's not predictable. Is this a known, new conflict between the Chrome browser and the 1Password Chrome extension?6Views0likes0CommentsKeyboard does not work in Windows Hello
I've been using Windows Hello PIN quite successfully for a long time. Now I get a Windows Hello prompt to enter my PIN when attempting to unlock an Account -and I cannot type anything, i.e. typing anything in the window for the PIN is blocked. The keyboard works fine everywhere else - but not in Windows Hello PIN. Is this part of the larger Windows Hello issues I've seen elsewhere? 1Password Version: 8.10.52 Extension Version: 81023003 OS Version: Windows 11 Browser: Edge657Views3likes24CommentsWindows Hello Pin not working
I have been using a Windows Hello PIN to unlock 1Password for a long time, but recently it no longer works; it says the PIN is incorrect. The PIN is correct because I can unlock my PC with it; the error occurs only with 1Password. I verified that the caps lock is not on.22Views0likes0Comments1Password won't open in Vivaldi any more
Anybody else having an issue with the 1Pwd extension in Vivaldi? Better yet, has anyone found a fix? I recently had to rebuild my Windows 11 computer. I reinstalled Vivaldi and 1Pwd, and downloaded and installed the extension from the Chrome store. I've signed in to my 1Pwd account in the extension. Now the 1Pwd button shows up in web forms, but clicking it doesn't do anything. Any suggestions? Thanks.3Views0likes0Comments"Installation stopped. 1Password is already installed on this device" Notification
Good morning, Multiple users, including myself, are receiving this error: After clicking, "Yes" the pop-up will come back sometime later. We are deploying 1Password via Intune (Windows Store App). How can I get this pop-up to go away?Solved206Views0likes5CommentsAutofill no longer works on HTTP pages; iOS shows white blank screen
I’m running into an issue where 1Password can’t fill on any http:// pages across multiple platforms, and on iOS it can even result in a white/blank screen when I try to fill. What’s happening iOS (1Password app + Safari extension): On http:// pages, 1Password cannot autofill. When I invoke 1Password to fill on an HTTP page, the 1Password UI becomes a white/blank screen. Chrome / Edge extension (desktop): Autofill does not work on http:// pages at all. macOS app / Safari (macOS): Same behavior — no filling on http:// pages. Expected behavior I understand HTTP is insecure, but I still expect either: autofill to work (possibly with a warning/confirmation), or a clear message explaining that filling is blocked on http:// pages — not a blank/white screen on iOS. Notes / why this matters These http:// sites are mostly local network / self-hosted services that don’t have HTTPS enabled yet (or are reachable only via LAN IP/hostnames). So “just use HTTPS” isn’t always possible. Also, I saw other reports that HTTP filling stopped working recently in some extension versions (people mentioned it worked again after downgrading), so I’m wondering if this is a regression. 1password.community Steps to reproduce (iOS) Open Safari on iOS and go to an http:// login page (example: http://[local-address]/login). Tap into the username/password field and try to fill with 1Password (AutoFill or Safari extension pop-up). Result: no autofill; in some cases the 1Password UI turns into a white/blank screen. My environment iOS: 26.2 1Password for iOS: 8.11.22 macOS: 26.2 1Password for macOS: 8.11.22 Browser: Chrome 143.0.7499.170 / Edge 143.0.3650.96 / Safari 26.2 (21623.1.14.11.9) 1Password browser extension: Chrome/Edge 8.11.27.2、Safari 8.11.22.27 What I’ve tried Restarted browser(s) and device(s) Updated 1Password apps and extensions Re-enabled / reinstalled the extension(s) Confirmed the Login item is correctly associated with the site Could you confirm whether filling on http:// pages is supposed to be blocked now, and if not, whether this is a known bug/regression? Hiya! I'm an avid 1Password user and I utilize every possible corner of it. BUT there's a certain issue that I'm facing when I'm using it with unsupported browsers. Mainly, Helium Browser (https://github.com/imputnet/helium) which includes unbiased privacy at no compromise to webpage functionality isn't supported. This is an issue because there's no other browser I'd use. The problems that arise are apparent on all platforms, like: Manual addition in the 1Password app on macOS (which, lately, seems to spaz out when using it with the extension) Inability to use with the system app on Windows which inconveniences users by making them log into their vault twice (which, if I guarantee, many have a complex password for and can't bore themselves typing it out multiple times per session) Broken behaviour on Linux, where even with the custom browser config it still can't unlock the vault if it's unlocked on the system. No, I wasn't running the Flatpak version. IMHO 1Password is better than the competition in terms of UX, but seeing my daily driver struggle with that with no way to fix without resorting to this is awful.178Views3likes3Comments
