Auto type not working on certain app after today's update to 8.12.12

We use a tool called CCH Pfx Practice Management.  It was working great until today's update.  I tried unchecking the auto-type box and re-checking it, but it still does not work.  Our two other applications that are also from CCH and use auto-type, work just fine....so the auto-type feature is still working, just not on CCHPM.  Any ideas?  We also tried recreating a new login, but it did not work either.  Thank you.

    I have a few questions to better understand the situation:

    • What goes wrong when you try to use Auto-type for this app? For example is it not typing into the field at all, or does it type into the field but skip letters, or something else?
    • If you test dragging your credentials from 1Password and dropping them into the fields in the app, does this fill them successfully, or does the same thing happen?
    • Do you run CCHPM as administrator? If so, does running 1Password as administrator as well get Auto-type working with it?

      Thank you for your reply.

      • It is not auto-typing into the field at all.  
      • I just tested dragging the username and then the password, and that worked.  Copying and pasting also works.
      • I have not tried running anything as Administrator.  It has always worked until the last update.  
      • Also, I forgot to mention that it works fine for 1 user that also updated to the latest version, but there are 3 or 4 of us that it does not work for.

        It's definitely odd that this is working for one user, but not others. I'd like to have our team investigate this further. Could you create and share a 1Password diagnostics report from an affected device:

        Send a diagnostics report (Windows)

        Attach the diagnostics to an email message addressed to: support@1password.com
