Desktop Application Logins
Is it possible to use 1Password to login to desktop applications that could use a user's AD credentials or may have non-AD integrated credentials? If so, how would you automate to autofill or auto login to these applications?
Tested using the drag and drop method for an application that uses <domainname>\<username> for logging in, but haven't figured out how or if this can be automated, and it really isn't easier or faster than typing in your username/password by the time you search for the application in the 1Password desktop app and then drag/drop to the required fields.
Hello homey_52761! 👋
Thanks for the question! You can use the 1Password for Windows desktop app's Auto-type feature to fill login credentials into desktop applications:
Let me know if that doesn't work or if I misunderstood.-Dave
