Feature Request: Change the way Favorites work

Current situation is that every favorite a employee creates in a shared vault is shared with everyone in the same permission group. This is confusing for the end-users since they expect that favorites are personal items only visible to them.

Expected behaviour is that favorites are strictly related to the user who creates them and are not shared with anybody else.

Please consider this for future developments, since this has been asked frequently by the community.

      Bumping this thread. My team just realized we were having an internal war without knowing it due to us favoriting and un-favoriting shared passwords. Changing this to individuals having their own favorites would be amazing.

      As a new user, I just discovered that when a family member "favorites" a shared item, it's automatically EVERYBODY'S favorite. WHAT?

      Let me tell you... My favorites are completely different from my spouse's. And neither of us wants to see our kid's favorites. Nor my mother's.

      Currently, favorites are useless for family accounts. This is a core feature!

      As far back as four years ago, 1Password staff acknowledged the issue. I understand that fixing it requires changes to the back-end... but it's been 4 years! Fix this, please!

        Same here. We use shared vaults company-wide and ended up in the same invisible tug-of-war @advisory-david describes: people favoriting and un-favoriting the same items without realizing it changes them for everyone.

        Favorites are personal by definition, and there is no workaround since tags are shared as well.
