1P is Very Annoying

I've spent nearly an hour trying to figure this out.  I've already downloaded LastPass.  Here is my issue:  I don't want 1P for security. I AM THE SECURITY. My device is never out of my reach. Anyone who attempts to take it will be introduced to my brass knuckles and baseball bat.

What I want is 1P to just freaking REMEMBER the 400 odd passwords I have.  Every single time I go to use it, I have to log in again.  I'm tired of this crap.  I want it to stay running all of the time and give my passwords any time I need them.  This option doesn't seem to be available. I've had 1P for over 5 years, but I will absolutely dump it and walk away if you can't make it stay running!  That option SHOULD be OUR choice.

I'm sorry that 1Password is asking you to unlock it more often than expected. You can change your auto-lock settings, controlling how often 1Password will require your account password to unlock, by following the steps in this guide:

I see that you're using a few different browsers. Once, you've modified your auto-lock settings, in which browser are you still being prompted to unlock 1Password more often than expected? And does this only occur after you close the browser and then re-open it? Or does it occur even if the browser stays open?

It happens every time, even after browser is shut down and reopened.  I've started using Apples "Passwords" app Version 1.3 (20620.2.4.11.5).  No issues there.  I think 1P is just all in for FULL on security.  It never contemplated that not everyone needs security. Some people just need a tool to help manage 400 + passwords.  This can happen when only tech staff are involved in design.  I may be a small minority of users.  I like the company, but I'll move on and find another app that does what I want.

Thanks for that.  I use different browsers for different things.  DuckduckGo, Waterfox are two of the fastest on the planet.  I'll use Brave, Firefox, Opera, and Vivaldi often, and if I have to, I'll use Chrome. I'll never use Edge or Safari. Utter crap.

custom browsers aren't supported without some complex thinkering.

the browsers it supports to keep the session logged in are: brave, chrome, and firefox.
