1Password 7 iOS Stuck but 1Password 8 iOS is OK

I haven't been able to use 1Password 7 for iOS. It's stuck at Decrypting... when I try to type in my Master Password. Duo Login doesn't work either but it (1Password 8 for iOS) works fine. It's an old problem, I didn't pay attention to it. I mainly use 1Password 8.

I wanted to see 1Password 7 to compare some older features now missing from 1Password 8.

In addition to 1Password 7 supporting Dropbox and/or Local vaults. Has there been any changes to Duo Mobile to stop 1Password 7 from working?

Reinstalling the App doesn't Reset. It should have gone back to entering my Account info.

iOS 18.3.1 1Password 7. 1Password Business Account. 

Tried it on my iPadOS 18.3.1 iPad mini 5 and it's working (New Setup) but not on my iPhone SE2 (2020) iOS 18.3.1.

    1Password 8 for iOS (for me) as opposed to 1Password 8 for iPasOS. 1Password 8 for iOS is fixed at Portrait, 1Password 8 for iPadOS can be rotated -Portrait/Landscape - and therefore it kind of works when it does by adjusting the Password Generator Dialog Box up to its maximum  Width.

    I've sent an email to 1Password Support when I didn't get a response here and I replied there.

    An attachment was sent here. Link expired, or should have. 1Password 8 for Android works with Wraparound Passwords but 1Password for iOS, Mac doesn't.

    Password Wraparound on Android 14. That works. Why isn't this on 1Password 8 for iOS, Mac. Up to 1Password 7 for iOS, it was there.

    Thanks for reaching out! 1Password 7 hasn't been updated in some time and is no longer supported. I don't think that anyone from our team has formally tested Duo with 1Password 7 for at least a few years. My recommendation is that you exclusively use 1Password 8 going forward. 

    Reinstalling the App doesn't Reset. It should have gone back to entering my Account info.

    Try removing both the 1Password 7 and the 1Password 8 app from your iPhone at the same time. When you reinstall 1Password 7 you should see that the app has been reset. However, before proceeding, make sure that you have a copy of your Emergency Kit, that you know your account password, and that you're signed into 1Password on another device and see all of your items there.

    1Password 8 for iOS for the Password Generator is very buggy. I cannot control the Password Length at all. The Length is controlled by the width of the 1Password Generator Dialog Box - Portrait or Landscape.

    On my SE 2 (2020), which iPassword 8 only works in Portrait Mode. I can't expand it further than the width of my iPhone.

      I'm sorry that you're running into issues when generating a new password using 1Password 8, I suspect that you might be running into a known issue that our development team is tracking. So that I can confirm this, can you post a screenshot of what you see on your end when you try to generate a new password? 

      Make sure that nothing sensitive is visible in the screenshot. I look forward to hearing from you.
