All sync via iCloud.

1Password 8 is membership only. iCloud syncing will not work. Sometimes folks confuse iCloud with our membership offering. If you are in-fact using a membership then you will have all of your data.

1Password 8 for Mac

Updates about Mac App Store availability is the best I can provide for updates.
