1password 8 auto fill on chromeos with chrome browser

I have upgraded to 1password 8 on my chrome os chromebook. I cannot get auto fill to work at all from the installed app. It does work if i install the version 2.7 browser extension. So am I correct that 1password 8 does not work from just the desktop installation?

    Yes autofill is on, and works fine from the browser app. Thanks for the answer.

    Hey djblais, thanks for reaching out to us!

    We recommend downloading both https://1password.com/downloads/android/ and https://1password.com/downloads/browser-extension/, so that the former will fill your Android apps and the latter will fill your sites in your preferred browser, which you mentioned is Chrome.

    Can you confirm that Autofill is enabled in 1Password for Android:
    1. Open and unlock 1Password for Android.
    2. Tap the top right profile icon.
    3. Tap Settings.
    4. Tap Autofill.

    Is Autofill enabled? If not, toggle it on.
