1password 8, can't search vaults?

Thank you for the additional details. It sounds like using the Find tool rather than the Search tool might be what you're looking for. Try these steps:

  1. Open and unlock 1Password 8.
  2. Click on a vault in the sidebar.
  3. Click Edit > Find or use Option-Command-F.
  4. Search using the Find field at the top of the list rather than the Search field.

Let me know if that gives you more of the behaviour that you're looking for.
