Some feedback on the suggested course of action: Uninstalling 1Password on Mac is always a bit weird and involves deleting files, some of which are in hidden folders.
Please asks your Devs to spend 2 hours to create an uninstaller for Mac. It would make the whole thing so much easier for everyone involved! Just because it doesn't happen very often, doesn't mean it only happens to tech-savy people and if I forward an employee this information, it is bound to mean only one thing: I will have to do it myself. We don't all have IT departments. So if you could simplify it so that an average person can uninstall and then re-install 1Password, that would be great.
Thanks for considering and passing on.

5 months agoThanks for the reply. You can uninstall the 1Password app by dragging it to the Trash, this is how apps are usually uninstalled on macOS. However, user data is stored separately from the app itself and you can remove it manually using this guide if needed: To remove your 1Password data
I'll pass your feedback regarding an uninstaller along to the team internally. If you have any other questions regarding this issue then please reply to my colleague's email in your support ticket. To prevent duplication of efforts, I'll close this community thread.
