Can also confirm dreadful performance on Mac
In general the upgrade to v8 has been a really poor experience. Autofill for credit cards has become clunkier and more annoying plus this speed issue.
I'll be sticking with 7. If 7 were to become unavailable and this wasn't fixed. I'll be strongly considering another product
