1Password auto-updating despite setting not to
I have 1Password > Settings > Advanced > Install updates automatically de-selected. On two different machines, 1Password auto-updated to 8.10.76 despite being set not to auto-update.
I didn't see anything in the release notes about "we're force-pushing 8.10.76 to everyone for reasons".

Hello mschmitt! 👋
I'm sorry that the "Install updates automatically" setting didn't work as expected. So that I can better understand the situation can you tell me the following:
- Which version were you running before you were updated to 8.10.76?
- Is "Install updates automatically" still deselected even after the update?
- The latest version is 8.10.78, were you automatically updated to this version as well?
I look forward to hearing from you.-Dave

I know I was on 8.10.75 on one machine. I know the other one was on 8.10.72 the last time I updated it, on 4/25. On 5/23 it was at 8.10.76; it is possible it auto-updated more than once.
"Install updates automatically" was still deselected.
It does look like it auto-updated again on one machine: it was at 8.10.76 on 5/23, but it auto-updated to 8.10.78 on 5/30.
On the other machine I manually updated it to 8.10.78 on 5/30, so I don't know if it would have auto-updated.
